Senior Cricket Midweek Friendly XI, Sunday Friendly XI, Saturday 3rd XI, 2nd XI and 1st XI

The Club’s Senior Teams play in the Northamptonshire Cricket League, one of the largest and most competitive cricket leagues in the country. Old Cricket Club offers a game for adults on any ability, whether you are picking up a bat for the first time or have played all your life. The range of Senior Teams has provided a structured development pathway for the Juniors who have graduated from age-group cricket. Competitive League matches take place every Saturday during the season with the 1st and 2nd XI playing at Old Playing Field and the 3rd XI playing at Newland Road in the neighbouring village of Walgrave. Senior practice takes place on Thursday evenings during the season at the Cricket Club, with Indoor Winter Nets taking place between January and March. The Club offers three batting cages, two artificial practice pitches, throw-down netting, and a range of practice equipment for members to develop their cricketing ability. Declan Ryan is Club Captain, please get in touch if you would like to join Old Cricket Club
